Day 1 : Casablanca - Fes
Today we visit most important places in Casablanca including Hassan
II mosque and then we drive to Fes where we stay overnight in local
hotel. You will have free program to discover this city afternoon.
Day 2 : Fes Sightseeing
Today we will explore the oldest city in Morocco, we will walk in
its alleys and small streets ,we visit the Royal Palace gate,
the
Jewish headquarter ,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco.We will
visit cultural and historical places including the famous
Al
Qaraouine University (the oldest in the region), the Tanneries, the
Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum.
We stay here overnight
in local riad.
Day 3 : Fes - Midelt
Today we will leave Fes travelling towards Ifran (beautiful
mountains village - referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco")
and
then to Midelt. During this journey you’ll experience the beauty of
Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. We will sop
at Azrou (Berber
village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in
Morocco) ,where we can see Barbary apes.
Then our journey continues
to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. In
Midelt we stay in local hotel.
Day 4 : Midelt - Ziz valley - Merzouga
After breakfast we will travel to
Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. We will be travelling through
the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in
views of the High Atlas plateau. Afterwards, we will travel along
the Ziz Valley, stopping
for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud
and Rissani. We arrive to Merzouga at the afternoon and you’ll be
welcomed with
a glass of mint tea. Then we start our camel ride to
spend an overnight in the desert camp with Berber music.
Day 5 : Merzouga - Toudgha Gorges - Dades
valley
Your camel-guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch
sunrise and then we ride camels back to the village
of Merzouga. We
will enjoy the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand
dunes ,changing with the light as the
day progresses. After
breakfast in the riad, we’ll leave to Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra
gorges (the highest, narrowest gorges
in Morocco). After lunch in
the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where
you’ll see the majestic sand
castles and the amazing rock formations
known as "monkey toes". We stepnd overnight in local hotel in the
Dades valley.
Day 6 : Dades valley - Roses valley -
Ouarzazette - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast we will travel through
the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and through way of the
thousand kasbahs.
Then we reach cinema city of Ouarzazate where we
visit movie studios and then we head to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah -the
largest Kasbah in Morocco (built by T-hami El Glaoui). Then we will
drive the way to cross High Atlas mountains full of panoramic view
and attractive Berber villages along the way till we get to
Marrakech where we stay overnight in local riad at Jamma El Fna
square.
Day 7 : Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast in the riad/hotel we will explore Marrakech " the
red city of Morocco” ,we will see the most important historical and
cultural places including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower,
the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch
we will walk
through the souk. At the afternoon we will have free program to
discover this city/medina by yourself.
Day 8 : Marrakech - airport
During this day we will have the chance to join the cooking class to
learn how to cook a Moroccan dish, or just an easy
and relaxing day
. Then we will transfer you to the airport in Marrakech or
Casablanca. |
