Day 1 : Tanger – Chefchaouen
Today our journey starts across the spectacular Rif mountains toward
Tetoun and we pass along incredibly dramatic landscapes. We arrive
in Chefchaouan ,which is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco. It
is blue-painted mountain village.
The old medina is a delight of
Moroccan. Here we will spend a night in a nice local riad/hotel.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Today we will start our tour towards Volubilis crossing via Wazan
and other Rif mountains villages. In volubilis you can enjoy
the
Roman ruins and we learn about this archeological site. Then we
drive to Meknes to see most attractive places including famous
medina and then we drive directly to Fes city where we will spend
the night in local riad/hotel.
Day 3 : Fes sightseeing guided tour
Today we will explore the oldest city in Morocco.We will walk in its
alleys and small streets and we visit places like Royal Palace gate,
the Jewish headquarter. We will visit famous Al Qaraouine University,
the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and
Mulay Idriss mausoleum. We stay here overnight in medina.
Day 4 : Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley –
Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel ride
Today we travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud ,we travel
along the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge.
Then we pass along Ziz Valley, stopping in
Erfoud (fossil city) and Rissani (traditional souk). We arrive to
Merzouga at afternoon and we’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea.
Then we prepare ourselves for a camel ride to spend a night in the
desert
camp with Berber music.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades
valley
We wake up early to watch sunrise over
the dunes of the Sahara. Then we make our way back by camels to
desert hotel
for breakfast and for shower. Then we leave
desert area heading to Tinghir and from there we walk through Todra
Gorge.
In the evening we get to Dades Valley for
dinner and we stay here overnight.
Day 6 : Dades valley – Roses valley –
Ouarzaette – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna
and Ouarzazate. This route through Dades Valley
is the way of 1000
kasbahs. We pass Valley of roses and cinema city of Ouarzazate where
we visit movie studios
and the we drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah -
the largest Kasbah in Morocco -the UNESCO heritage site.
We continue
are trip to Marrakech where stay overnight in local riad.
Day 7 : Marrakech guided tour
After breakfast in your riad , we will start exploring Marrakech ”
the red city of Morocco”. We will see the most important places
of historical and cultural interest as the
Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia
Palacel. We will enjoy tasty lunch at Jamma el Fna square and then
we’ll walk through the souks where we can see hundreds of
handicrafts.
At the afternoon, you will have free program
to discover this city by yourself .
Day 8 : Transfer to the airport
Today we will finish Marrakech tour and we transport you to the
airport before your flight departure. |
